Spring is in full swing at Wood River! As we move into the final stretch of the school year, we’re celebrating big moments, student achievements, and the energy of this season. Whether you joined us for prom last night or are gearing up for upcoming events, there’s something for everyone to look forward to. Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening this month and how our Eagles are soaring high!
A few students and families may be taking it a little easier today, since prom was last night. Congratulations to Queen Marlen Rodriguez and King Brek Wiese. Prom marks one of the many activities planned for the spring. Here are a few of the events before we end the year.
Calendar Highlights:
April 14th - Blood Drive @ high school
April 15th - Juniors taking the ACT Test
April 15th - Pre-K, Kindergarten registration
April 17,18,19 - All School Play
May 19th - Last day of school
Eagles Soaring High:
Mr. Hirchert and all the staff who ran the track meets last week. Things went very smoothly for the teams and competitors due to their hard work.
The boys' varsity track team for winning the Wood River Invite. Many outstanding performances led to a 14.5-point victory.
Academic All Stars: Students recognized were Colt Koperski, Savannah Davis, Michael Flores, Jace Stewart, Bryson Rathman, Melissa Torres, Hallee Valasek, and Bryden Osburn
Reminders:
ALL school fees, class dues, and lunch account balances must be paid in full prior to student check-out in May. If you have questions regarding your student's balance, please call the school office. For MS & HS students, a statement of fees due has been mailed home.
