Weekly events

Hello Wood River Families,

Welcome to this week’s newsletter! We’re excited to share important updates, celebrations, and upcoming events with you.

Finally, we got some much-needed rain to turn plants green, settle the dust, and rejuvenate us for the remaining 3 1/2 weeks of school. This week is the middle/high school community day. This day is very fitting for our vision: Work Hard, Build Community, and Lead the Way. The students will work in the community throughout the day on Wednesday, picking up trash, painting, pulling weeds, raking, among other tasks, to care for our community.  This is a short time but the impact of 260 students will make a difference that all can be proud of. During the morning session students will have career exploration sessions with employers such as Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Landmark Implement and more…

The elementary school will host its Community Day on May 15th.
