As we enter the final two weeks of school, this coming week is especially busy—and it’s also Teacher Appreciation Week! We are incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated educators at Wood River Rural Schools. Teachers make a tremendous positive impact on students’ lives, often spending more time with them than anyone else. Let’s take this opportunity to celebrate and recognize all that our teachers do.

Eagles Soaring High:
The Boys Varsity Track Team for placing 3rd at the LouPlatte Conference Track Meet. The highest placing since 2010.
Madden Brabec for winning the pole vault and setting a conference record for vaulting 14’8”.
Mr. Cantrell and Mrs. Heywood for organizing the career fair during community service day.
Academic All-Stars in the Middle/High School: Berkley Strode, Autumn Saul, Jessi Codner, Liza Green, Austin Champion, Brynlee Hartman, Spencer Nielsen, Alaina Watson, Samantha Tibbet, and Kaia Morse.
Middle/High School Students and Staff for cleaning and picking up around the Wood River and Alda Communities.
Nurse Pam: She is an amazingly caring person, and we are so fortunate to have her working with our students to ensure they are healthy and ready to learn.
