Here’s a look at this week’s schedule and a few important reminders.
What a great week at Husker Harvest Days! We are incredibly grateful to all of our staff, students, parents, and community volunteers who helped make the Eagles Nest concession stand a success. This event not only raises money for our students, but it also demonstrates what is possible when our community comes together. Extraordinary things happen when we come together!
🍎 Breakfast Reminder
Breakfast is $1.00 for students who are not on free or reduced-price meal status. Second-chance breakfast is $3.00 for middle and high school students.
📝 Free & Reduced Meals
If you need to reapply for free and reduced-price meals, please complete your application by Wednesday, September 23.
New this year: Students who qualify for reduced-price meals will receive them at no cost to the family, as the State of Nebraska is covering the reduced portion.
📚 Attendance Matters
Regular attendance is important to student success. When students miss too much school, it can affect their learning and connection to school. Chronic absenteeism also negatively impacts our school district.
We understand that illnesses, appointments, and family circumstances happen. Our goal is to work with families to help students attend school consistently whenever possible.
