Eagle Families,
I want to share our school WIGs (Wildly Important Goals) and how they reflect our district vision: Work Hard, Build Community, and Lead the Way.
Wood River Elementary and Wood River Middle/High School each have goals aligned with these three vision elements. The accompanying graphic highlights the goals for each school.
Our academic focus is to help every student grow in their learning and be prepared for the next step in their educational journey. In the area of culture, we want students to be actively involved in their school and community while helping create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Through leadership, we want students to recognize their potential, take initiative, and develop the skills to make a positive difference.
These goals help keep us focused on what matters most for our students and provide a shared direction for our schools, staff, students, and families.
At Wood River, we are Always Reaching for Excellence! If you have questions about our goals or district priorities, please don't hesitate to reach out to me personally at tzessin@wrrsd.org.
Week at Glance.
Have a wonderful week!
Terry
