The Wood River & Shelton Teammates Mentors were recognized at halftime of the Girls Basketball game for the impact they have on our communities' youth. Thank you to everyone who spends time building relationships with our students! 🦅

6th graders welcomed Kylee Griesen, Hastings Middle School Counselor and therapy dog, Ralphie on Monday. This was a great way to begin our new Unit 2 studying perspectives of how animals and people relate to one another.

Today Peg Heise came and taught the third graders about the solar system. The third graders got to enjoy a presentation on the Sun, Moon, and Planets. They also got to complete hands-on stations and breakout rooms!

The bowlers will be in action on Thursday, as they host Lincoln Pius at Westside Lanes. 🎳

High School Student Lighthouse Members (Madden, Jace, Allie, and Maverick) presented to the Wood River City Council their idea for a Pickleball Tournament. The council liked the idea and is on board to support the efforts to raise funds and support for this future community project. Proud of these student leaders taking steps to benefit our school and community for the future. Please consider registering to participate in the tournament. If you have never played before, no worries. We will provide all the equipment and can help teach the basics. We just want a big crowd to support this project for our community.
