Jace Martin ran a 23.06 in the 200M and finished in 16th place. That wraps up day 1 of State Track. Madden Brabec will compete at 9 am in Pole Vault.

Hector Bonilla ran a SCHOOL RECORD 3200 of 9:56.36! He breaks Ralph Zavala's record from all the way back in 1968. It was a very competitive field and he finishes in 10th place just outside a medal.

Jace Martin finishes the 400m in 21st place with a 52.28. He will compete again in an hour or so in the 200m prelims.

Madden Brabec was seeded 18th into prelims for the 110H. He finished 9th (15.43) missing finals by only 0.01 seconds, so close! Madden still has the Pole Vault tomorrow morning at 9 am.

We celebrated these #wreagle teachers for their years of service to education and congratulated them on their well-deserved retirements!

Congrats to Alex Pospisil who has tied for the 7th Place medal at State High Jump as a Freshman.

On Community Day the Green Team had the opportunity to plant a Majestic Skies Pin Oak tree. The tree was graciously donated by Chad Gideon. The students learned about the importance of planting trees and assisted Chad in the planting. Thank you, Chad.

We are Burke Bound! Cheer on our boys as they compete at State tomorrow and Saturday.

The playing conditions today at District Golf were not great.

Calling all girls in grades K-12! This summer we are having a Basketball Shot Club! Information and a Shot Tracker is coming home with all K-5 girls tomorrow and next week girls in grades 6-12 can get one at the Multi-Sports camp or one of our open gyms. Athletes will receive a Shot Club t-shirt and recognition with the milestone they reach! Go Eagles! 🦅🏀
