Our cross country team had a fun easy run day today and did a team competition to see who could pick up the most items of trash on their run. We have a competitive group and pick up 560 items. Ethan's team won with 295 items. Way to work hard and contribute to the community!

The Softball girls start off the season on Saturday, Aug. 15 with a Jamboree game at the Doniphan Softball Fields. Admission will be $6 for adults and $5 for students. Proceeds go to the Nebraska Hall of Fame. No passes will be accepted.

Staff enthusiastically welcomed students back this morning with a kickoff assembly in the auditorium, led by our Student Lighthouse President, Briggs Doane. After rotating through all classes, the High School Student Lighthouse Team hosted a slip-and-slide kickball tournament. It was a fantastic first day for students and staff.

He will speak on digital platforms and A.I. — including social media, chatbots, and artificial intelligence — and discuss why building digital wisdom and resilience is essential for youth digital health and well-being. Attending this presentation will waive your student's iPad fee for the 2026-2027 school year.
