As part of the Kearney Area Storytelling Festival, Wood River Elementary hosted storyteller, Joe Hayes. He entertained the students with stories in both English and Spanish. Thank you to the Wood River Centennial Community Foundation for the grant money to sponsor this event.

The order of the Varsity Girls/Boys Basketball games on Friday, Feb. 9th are: Girls/Boys Jv at 4:30; Varsity Boys at 6:00; and Varsity Girls at 7:45. It is also parents night for Basketball, Cheer, and Dance. The Time Capsule will be opened up between the Varsity Boys and Girls games.
