Students tasted various gourmet chocolates from around the world and determined their favorite. They then determined the growth conditions of the chocolate trees in the country that produced their fave chocolate. Yummy times!
Boys and girls both placed 3rd today in our Wood River Invite. Harry won the triple jump, 300 hurdles, and was our boy's high scorer with 22 pts. Macie lead the girls with 19.5 pts. Tough day with the cold but proud of how our kids competed. GO EAGLES!
It was a cold one out on the course for the golfers today! Wood River Golfers fell just short as they took 4th Place in the Wood River Invite. Dakota Van Winkle took home 10th place in the individuals! Congrats to Kearney Catholic and Adams Central on a well played round!

10th and 11th grade students had a hard day of PreACT and ACT testing, so they earned some activities to finish their day. Thanks to the National Guard for bringing out some fun things for our students to do!
Great day of competition at GICC track meet today. Boys placed 5th and girls placed 8th. Harry won Triple Jump, our only outright win on the day. 15 boys medaled and we set a total of 15 personal best marks today. GO EAGLES!

The soccer game that was scheduled for today in Aurora has been postponed to this Saturday, April 1st @ 10:30 in Aurora.
Due to the GICC Track Meet being rescheduled, the Wood River Football Parents meeting has been moved back an hour to 7 PM on March 30th to give track parents time to make both events.
The Varsity Track meet at GICC has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 30th. Field events begin at 11:00. Meet will take place at Grand Island Central Catholic.
Thursday, March 30th there will be a parent meeting for those whose son's are interested in playing high school football next year (current parents of 8th-11th graders). This will be in the theater at 6 PM!
