Flashback Friday to this #wreagles Closeup Group. #fbf

For the rest of the team other than Preston, the Cross Country season came to an end tonight. The boys finished in 5th out of 13 teams. 4 out of the 5 boys on the team set personal best times. Victoria, our lone female runner, ran a season's best time and her 2nd fastest finish time in her career! This special group has put in a lot of hard work and effort to get to this point, it's been amazing to see them chase their goals and get better each day and each meet. GO EAGLES!

Preston Kuskie (10th Grade) qualified for State today! He ran a personal best 18:35 and placed 10th. This is the 11th straight year that Wood River has sent at least one individual qualifier to State in Cross Country - Alyssa Brown, Emily Loy, Luis Trejo, Grant Packer, Omar Tinajero, and now Preston. Preston is also now only the 5th runner in school history (boys and girls) to individually qualify for State in multiple seasons. Come support him next Friday, October 21st at Kearney Country Club, race starts at 12 pm.
