The track meet at Central City for tomorrow has been postponed. Our first track meet will be at Aurora on Friday!
We start the track season off Tuesday at 1pm in Central City with Field Events followed by running events at 2:30pm! As usual in Nebraska stay tuned for weather updates and cancellations! Currently it is supposed to be 50 degrees with 60% chance of rain 🤷♂️

Congratulations to the PreK through 8th grade Eagles that competed at the NE USA State Tournament this weekend in GI. Three Eagles medaled with Jace placing 8th out of 24, Briggs 3rd out of 23, and Sawyer placing 7th out of 26. Great work all of you!



If you're interested in registering for the Drivers Ed Class this summer offered at Wood River, you will need to pick up a registration form in the office. Forms should be completed & returned with payment of $330 to the Nebraska Safety Center OR you can register and pay on line. Classes will be June 20 through June 24. Range Exercises will be June 24 at Kearney and transportation will be provided by Wood River High School. To be eligible for the class you must have a valid permit (either learners or school permit) If under 18 when the course is completed, and you pass the course, this will waive the written and drive test at the Nebraska DMV Examination Office

UNL Engineering students came to middle math to help students design a safety device to transport people via a zip lines. Great problem solving challenge!

7th and 8th grade math students celebrated Pi Day in style. Both grades worked on circumference and area of cookies, and the 8th graders calculated volume of cylinders.
Reminder to all girls grades 6-12 that responded yes to the wrestling survey and came to the meeting: Exploratory practice at 630 am tomorrow. See you bright and early!
