This week is Read Across America! To kick it off, we had some special visitors including the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. The WR Cheer and Dance teams also helped with our dance off and performed their routine. #read

Due to the predicted number of staff & student fans attending the boys district basketball game in Omaha, and late return home, we will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, March 1st. There will be no morning preschool. Buses will run accordingly.
The Jh boys games at Westridge on Monday Feb. 28th have been moved to Tuesday Mar. 1st. The games have been moved to Wood River High School. The first game starts at 4:15.
Monday the Eagle boys play in the District Final vs Omaha Concordia at 7:00. The game will be streamed on the Concordia YouTube channel. The link can be found on the schools web page. Look for the live link on the home page. Here is the link: https://concordiaomaha.org/

Last regular speech meet of the season and what a way to end it! Lots of medalists today at the Centura Meet. The team placed 5th overall out of 18 teams. Boys’ OID 1st, Eva and Anthony duet 4th, Eva G humorous 3rd and serious 10th, Melissa V serious 9th, Anthony G humorous 5th, Joe C humorous 10th, Jaelyn P humorous 12th. Great job today and best of luck at districts this Wednesday!
Middle School Boys Basketball lost a nail biter tonight 28-31 to Northwest. Looking forward to a redemption opportunity next week at the Westridge tournament. Boys will host on Tuesday night, playing Walnut at 4:15 pm followed by Northwest at 5:30 pm. Please come out and support!
Boys district final is Monday, Feb 28th @ Omaha Concordia at 7pm. We would love to see a big crowd come and support our boys. Theme night will be "Color Explosion!" Parents will wear purple first half and student section will wear white and switch at half time. # let'sgo Eagles
Due to the varsity boys basketball team making it to the district final in Omaha, there will be an early dismissal this Monday, February 28th. 12:45pm for the elementary school and 1:00pm for the middle/high school. There will be no ASP or PM Preschool that day. The game will be held at Omaha Concordia High School at 7:00pm. Go Eagles!

The Jh boys basketball game scheduled for Thursday Feb. 24th has been moved to Friday Feb. 25th. Tip is set for 4:00. The order of the games will be the B game followed by 2 qtrs. of C followed by the A game.
