Our 4th graders traveled back in time today—virtually! Since the Ashfall Fossil Beds are a little too far for a field trip, we brought the adventure to them! Students explored ancient animals, learned how fossils are discovered, and uncovered the incredible history hidden right here in Nebraska!

Calling all Eagles...Please congratulate freshmen, Avery Miles and Diana Rodriguez for both shooting personal bests today in Ravenna! They both tied at 128. Avery shaved 16 strokes from her previous best 9 hole score and 25 from her previous best 18 hole score. While playing in her first solo, 18 hole, varsity tournament, Diana shaved 27 strokes from her previous best 9 hole score and fired one of the top five 18 hole scores of the season for the team. Way to go, Lady Eagles! Coach Kibby is proud of you.

Our seniors visited UNK today as they continue to learn about college options. Fun to see several Wood River alumni as we walked around campus.

Another amazing day of racing for cross country. Hector earns a 14th-place finish, the first medal at UNK since 2020. As a team we place 9th out of 50 schools. Next up we head to Gibbon again for the Lou Platte Conference Championsip next Tuesday.
