Boys Golf Districts at Indianhead Golf Course today (Tuesday, May 18) Good Luck
The Wood River Fire Department, in conjunction with the Central District Health Department, will be conducting a no appointment necessary, walk-in Covid immunization clinic (we will be using the Pfizer vaccine) for any residents in or around the Wood River area, provided there is enough interest (please let us know if you’re coming so we can be sure and have enough vaccines). The clinic will be at the Wood River Fire Station located at 410 Green Street in Wood River on Sunday, May 23rd from 9 am to 1 pm. We will be giving both first and second shots (second shot will be offered to those that had their first Pfizer shot on or before May 2nd. Bring your shot record card if you come for your second shot.) If you are interested in getting the free shot, or you know of someone in the Wood River, Shelton, Cairo, Alda area that would be interested, have them contact any WRFD member or send an email to members@woodriverfire.com. We also will be offering shots for those that may not be able to transport themselves to the station. For more information on that or any other information on the shot clinic, contact Nick Lammers at 308-380-0509 or Judy Knecht at 308-379-1192. To speed up the process of getting your vaccination, preregister with the state at https://vaccinate.ne.gov/. Vaccinations are available for those 12 years old or older. A parent or guardian must accompany those under age 19, and all shots are free of charge.
