WRRS & OPAA! will be offering FREE Breakfast & Lunch for any child, aged 18 & under to take home during the month of July. Children do not need to qualify for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program or even be students of Wood River Schools! Children will be required to sign up, to help with food preparation. Meals will be picked up from the Wood River Elementary Cafeteria 1-2 times a week. Children MUST come on the pick up day and be accompanied by an adult to make sure food is properly refrigerated, once it leaves the school. There will be a set menu for each day of the week, and those menus will remain the same for the duration of the program. For example, Tuesdays may be a Cheeseburger, and Fridays may be a PB & J sandwich each week. Breakfast menus will run in a similar fashion. The USDA is providing this summer meal option to reach students in rural areas; this new program will be similar to what was done during Pandemic feeding in 2020. We invite you to fill out the form below, so we can gauge interest in the community. Once we have a feel for participation numbers, we will be able develop a plan for food distribution. PLEASE RESPOND BY FRIDAY, JUNE 14TH. https://grabngo.paperform.co

Close Up Trip 2024 to Washington DC and New York City has been great. Students learned about the foundations and history of our nation, participated in civic discussions with their peers from other schools, and explored many significant locations. It was a ton of fun!
