Congrats to our lunch time intramural volleyball champions!
We are looking for instrument donations to support the Wood River band program.
Student Lighthouse achieved its goal for the blood drive today. In total, the Red Cross was able to collect 41 units of blood. We also were able to recruit 15 first time donors. Huge thanks to all that participated! Our next blood drive will be on February 12th.
Spanish 1 students are peer coaching to practice numbers in the hundreds.
The football game vs Doniphan-Trumbull can be heard on the radio this Friday. It can be heard on 98.9 The VIBE. The game will also be streaming on the Eagle YouTube Channel. GO EAGLES!!
Today is the Student Lighthouse Blood Drive from 12 - 6 pm. We still have 4 open slots (12 pm, 3 pm - Power Red, 4:30 pm, and 5 pm). Every donation can be made as a part of the Big Ten "We Give Blood Drive", The winning university receives $1 million, and individuals who participate are entered to win tickets to the Big Ten Championship. Currently, UNL has a commanding lead and we can help add to the lead. Eagles earn a win against the Superior Wildcats, advancing to 7-1 and keeping their playoff hopes alive. Next up: the district championship at Doniphan-Trumbull next Friday. #wreagles

Tough finishing 4 points out of our first trip to state since 2003. The boys gave it their all though and finished 4th. Good consolation getting Hector his 2nd trip to state (8th place) and Preston a 4th trip (10th place)

Tomorrow at 5 pm the Little Eagles Running Club will be having a 1 mile race around campus. Popsicles will be available afterward and those who ordered shirts can pick them up before or after the race. We will start and finish on the track so meet there before 5 pm.
