Yesterday we had four students represent Wood River at the Youth Prevention Summit in Grand Island. Students learned the health effects of smoking/vaping, drug use and the current tactics big tobacco uses to target youth. Then they learned about different prevention strategies and worked together to plan how they want to present this information to their peers. Very proud of their leadership and can't wait to see their plan come together!
