Here is the race report from an incredible Cross Country State Championship!
The Academic Action Team took a little time to celebrate their hard work preparing the Academic Renaissance Award Ceremony. Our students created a slideshow, posters, awards, and certificates to recognize the accomplishments of their classmates. There are so many great things going on at WR Schools and we love highlighting them!
Great day for the Eagle Cross Country boys at the State Cross Country Meet!!! Hector placed 6th place while setting a new school record!!! Yanathan placed 22nd while setting a new PR.
It took 4 years for Hector to crack a smile post race. All it took was setting the new school record in 16:49 and earning a 6th place medal. Four years of hard work paid off! Yanathan ran 17:17 for the 3rd best time in school history, he finished in 22nd.

Earlier this month the National Honor Society was working in the concession stand during our pink out night for volleyball. The intention was always to donate all the proceeds to the GRACE foundation. We appreciate the care and support they give to many diagnosed with cancer in our area. Courtney represented the Grace Foundation and joined our morning assembly this week to accept a check from some of our senior members.
